Paragraph 1 (Hindi)
ज़कात इस्लाम का तीसरा स्तंभ है और यह हर मालदार मुसलमान पर फ़र्ज़ है।
यह अमल इंसान को अल्लाह के करीब करता है और समाज में बराबरी लाता है।
ज़कात का मक़सद सिर्फ़ माल बांटना नहीं बल्कि दिल की सफ़ाई और नफ़्स पर काबू पाना है।
मालदार जब अपने माल से हिस्सा निकालता है तो उसके दिल में गरीबों के लिए रहमत पैदा होती है।
ज़कात देने से समाज में मोहब्बत और भाईचारा बढ़ता है।
कुरान में दर्ज है कि जो लोग ज़कात अदा करते हैं, अल्लाह उनका माल पाक करता है।
यही वजह है कि ज़कात को ईमान की पहचान कहा गया है।
Paragraph 2 (English)
Zakat is the third pillar of Islam and is obligatory upon every wealthy Muslim.
It brings a person closer to Allah and establishes equality in society.
The purpose of Zakat is not just distributing wealth but purifying the heart and controlling the ego.
When the rich give a portion of their wealth, it creates mercy for the poor in their hearts.
Zakat strengthens love and brotherhood in the community.
The Qur’an says those who give Zakat will have their wealth purified.
That is why Zakat is considered a mark of true faith.
Paragraph 3 (Hindi)
ज़कात का हिसाब माल पर लगाया जाता है।
जिसके पास साल भर तक nisab के बराबर माल हो, उस पर ज़कात फ़र्ज़ है।
nisab का मतलब है वह मिक़दार जिस पर ज़कात लागू होती है।
यह सोने, चाँदी, नक़दी और व्यापार के माल पर लगाया जाता है।
ज़कात का हिस्सा 2.5% है।
यानी हर सौ रुपए में ढाई रुपए देना ज़रूरी है।
इससे अमीर और गरीब के बीच का फासला कम होता है।
Paragraph 4 (English)
The calculation of Zakat is based on wealth.
Anyone who possesses wealth equal to the nisab for one lunar year must pay Zakat.
Nisab is the minimum threshold of wealth upon which Zakat becomes obligatory.
It applies to gold, silver, cash, and trade goods.
The standard rate of Zakat is 2.5%.
This means giving two and a half out of every hundred units of wealth.
This reduces the gap between the rich and poor.
Paragraph 5 (Hindi)
ज़कात का सबसे बड़ा मक़सद गरीबों और ज़रूरतमंदों की मदद करना है।
अल्लाह ने मालदारों के माल में गरीबों का हिस्सा रखा है।
जब अमीर लोग यह हिस्सा अदा करते हैं तो समाज में नफ़रत और जलन खत्म होती है।
गरीब इंसान भी इज़्ज़त और आराम से ज़िंदगी गुज़ार सकता है।
ज़कात एक ऐसा सिस्टम है जो इंसाफ़ और बराबरी लाता है।
इससे अमीरों का माल भी पाक और बर्कतमंद होता है।
यही वजह है कि ज़कात को रहमत कहा गया है।
Paragraph 6 (English)
The main purpose of Zakat is to support the poor and needy.
Allah has placed a share for the poor in the wealth of the rich.
When wealthy people give this share, hatred and jealousy in society disappear.
The poor can live with dignity and comfort.
Zakat is a system that establishes justice and equality.
It also purifies and blesses the wealth of the rich.
That is why Zakat is called a mercy.
Paragraph 7 (Hindi)
ज़कात सिर्फ़ एक आर्थिक मदद नहीं बल्कि रूहानी सफ़ाई का जरिया भी है।
जब इंसान माल से मोहब्बत छोड़ता है तो उसके दिल में तवाज़ो और शुक़्र पैदा होता है।
ज़कात देने वाला अल्लाह का शुक्र अदा करता है कि उसने उसे मालदार बनाया।
यह अमल इंसान को लालच और बुख़्ल से बचाता है।
ज़कात इंसान की रूह को पाक करती है।
यह अमल इंसान को जन्नत के करीब ले जाता है।
यही वजह है कि नेक मुसलमान ज़कात अदा करने में जल्दबाज़ी करते हैं।
Paragraph 8 (English)
Zakat is not only financial support but also a spiritual purification.
When a person detaches from love of wealth, humility and gratitude develop.
The giver thanks Allah for granting wealth.
This act protects one from greed and miserliness.
Zakat purifies the soul of the believer.
It brings a person closer to Paradise.
That is why righteous Muslims hasten to give Zakat.
Paragraph 9 (Hindi)
कुरान और हदीस दोनों में ज़कात की अहमियत बार-बार बताई गई है।
रसूल अल्लाह ﷺ ने फ़रमाया कि ज़कात न देने वाला क़ियामत के दिन सख़्त अज़ाब पाएगा।
ज़कात न देने से माल भी बर्बाद होता है।
ज़कात देने से इंसान के गुनाह माफ़ होते हैं।
यह अमल अल्लाह के गुस्से को दूर करता है।
ज़कात एक मुसलमान के ईमान की अलामत है।
इसलिए इसे कभी नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं करना चाहिए।
Paragraph 10 (English)
Both the Qur’an and Hadith emphasize the importance of Zakat.
The Prophet ﷺ said that those who refuse to pay Zakat will face severe punishment on the Day of Judgment.
Wealth is destroyed if Zakat is not given.
By giving Zakat, sins are forgiven.
It removes the anger of Allah.
Zakat is a sign of a Muslim’s faith.
Therefore, it should never be neglected.
Paragraph 11 (Hindi)
ज़कात की रकम किन लोगों को दी जा सकती है, यह भी कुरान में बताया गया है।
यह सिर्फ़ गरीबों, यतीमों, मुसाफ़िरों और ग़रीब तालिबे इल्म को दी जा सकती है।
इसका इस्तेमाल मस्जिद बनाने या अमीर रिश्तेदारों को देने में नहीं किया जा सकता।
ज़कात का हक़दार सिर्फ़ वही है जो सचमुच जरूरतमंद हो।
इससे समाज में बैलेंस पैदा होता है।
हर तबका अल्लाह की रहमत महसूस करता है।
यही वजह है कि ज़कात को सख़्ती से तै किया गया है।
Paragraph 12 (English)
The Qur’an specifies who can receive Zakat.
It can be given to the poor, orphans, travelers, and needy students.
It cannot be used to build mosques or given to wealthy relatives.
Only the truly needy are eligible for Zakat.
This creates balance in society.
Every group feels Allah’s mercy.
That is why the rules of Zakat are strictly defined.
Paragraph 13 (Hindi)
ज़कात का एक और मक़सद यह है कि अमीर लोग अपने माल में ग़रीबों का हक़ पहचानें।
अल्लाह ने माल को सबके लिए बनाया है।
जब अमीर लोग इसका हिस्सा गरीबों को देते हैं तो अल्लाह उन पर और रहमत करता है।
ज़कात से माल में कमी नहीं आती बल्कि और बरकत होती है।
रसूल ﷺ ने फ़रमाया कि सदक़ा और ज़कात से माल बढ़ता है।
यह इंसान को अल्लाह की रहमत में ले जाता है।
यही वजह है कि ज़कात देने वाला कभी नुकसान में नहीं रहता।
Paragraph 14 (English)
Another purpose of Zakat is to make the wealthy recognize the right of the poor in their wealth.
Allah created wealth for everyone.
When the rich give the share of the poor, Allah increases blessings upon them.
Wealth does not decrease with Zakat but rather increases.
The Prophet ﷺ said charity and Zakat increase wealth.
It brings a person under Allah’s mercy.
That is why a giver of Zakat never suffers loss.
Paragraph 15 (Hindi)
ज़कात एक ऐसा सिस्टम है जो समाज में अमीरी और ग़रीबी के बीच फ़ासला खत्म करता है।
यह इंसाफ़ और बराबरी का पैग़ाम देता है।
गरीब जब अमीर का माल पाते हैं तो उनके दिल से नफ़रत मिट जाती है।
इससे समाज में मोहब्बत और भाईचारा पैदा होता है।
ज़कात अमीरों को भी सिखाती है कि उनका माल अल्लाह की अमानत है।
यह इंसान को इंसाफ़ पसंद और रहमदिल बनाती है।
यही वजह है कि इस्लामी समाज हमेशा मज़बूत रहा।
Paragraph 16 (English)
Zakat is a system that eliminates the gap between rich and poor.
It gives the message of justice and equality.
When the poor receive from the wealth of the rich, hatred is removed.
It creates love and brotherhood in society.
Zakat teaches the wealthy that their wealth is a trust from Allah.
It makes a person just and compassionate.
That is why Islamic societies have remained strong.
Paragraph 17 (Hindi)
ज़कात अदा करने का सही वक़्त रमज़ान शरीफ़ भी है।
कई मुसलमान रमज़ान में ज़कात अदा करते हैं ताकि सबाब बढ़े।
हालाँकि ज़कात साल में कभी भी अदा की जा सकती है।
मगर रमज़ान का सबाब ज़्यादा है।
यह गरीबों की मदद का सबसे अच्छा महीना होता है।
इसीलिए रमज़ान और ज़कात का गहरा ताल्लुक है।
इससे इंसान का ईमान और मजबूत होता है।
Paragraph 18 (English)
The best time to give Zakat is during Ramadan.
Many Muslims choose Ramadan for the great reward.
However, Zakat can be given any time of the year.
But giving in Ramadan multiplies the blessings.
It is the best month to help the poor.
That is why Ramadan and Zakat are deeply connected.
This strengthens the faith of the believer.
Paragraph 19 (Hindi)
ज़कात का असल मक़सद अल्लाह की रज़ामंदी हासिल करना है।
जब इंसान ज़कात देता है तो वह अल्लाह की रहमत और जन्नत का हक़दार बनता है।
ज़कात से दिल में सुकून और चैन पैदा होता है।
गरीबों की दुआएँ अमीरों की ज़िंदगी में बरकत लाती हैं।
यह अमल इंसान को दुनिया और आख़िरत दोनों में कामयाब बनाता है।
ज़कात देने वाला अल्लाह के सबसे करीब होता है।
यही वजह है कि नेक मुसलमान हमेशा ज़कात की अहमियत समझते हैं।
Paragraph 20 (English)
The ultimate purpose of Zakat is to seek Allah’s pleasure.
When a person gives Zakat, he earns Allah’s mercy and Paradise.
It brings peace and tranquility to the heart.
The prayers of the poor bring blessings in the lives of the rich.
This act makes a person successful in both worlds.
The giver of Zakat is closest to Allah.
That is why righteous Muslims always value Zakat.
